Chartres Labyrinth
A Chartres Labyrinth is a walking meditation tool, not to be confused with a maze. A maze is an intricate network of passages deliberately designed to cause confusion.
In contrast, a labyrinth is an easy to follow spiraling design, leading to and from the center. Walking a labyrinth is relaxing and often stimulates creativity, and improves concentration.
The Highcroft Labyrinth is used as a meditation tool in our Healing Modalities and Workshops, but can also be booked for private events like weddings, photo shoots, corporate events and more.
Has a semi-circular seating wall for spectators
Comfortably accommodates up to 70 guests
History of the Highcroft Labyrinth
The inspiration for the Highcroft Labyrinth came from an amazing experience that our Matron, Elaine Whitman, had while walking a labyrinth in Barberton many moons ago.
Meditation Room
The meditation room is part of an ancient ruin that is held in place by a magnificent tree. This truly amazing tree has held this building in its arms for over 100 years, and continues to connect all who sit at its feet, to Mother Earth. It whispers the secrets of the Universe to all who listen.
The meditation room is the ideal venue for an intimate wedding, spiritual or meditation workshop or private event.
